  1. The end of the throttle cable has a block that rests in a pocket on the throttle butterfly control. Make sure it is fully seated.
  2. judgejon is correct C4S uses Turbo radiators.
  3. Did you follow the procedure in the Lost Radio Code FAQ? The serial number on the radio can not be trusted to be correct (due to repairs).
  4. You are always safe to put Porsche N-spec tires on your Porsche. If you got to a site like Tirerack.com - put your car year and model into their system it will show you the recommended tires including Porsche N-spec tires.
  5. Yes, press and the down window button and continue holding another 10 seconds. Do the same for up window. If that does not fix it then you are likely going to have to open the door panel and inspect.
  6. Any beeps when you try to lock with the remote? Two beeps mean there is an alarm fault. One beep means one or more zones is reading "open".
  7. I agree with dporto - on an eleven-year-old car chances are it is a worn out window regulator.
  8. You can advertise your car here on RennTech.org - just use the Classifieds section. Contributing Members get free ads here.
  9. When I had a PIWIS 1 it worked fine on 996 and 997. There is hardly anything you can do or see on a 964.
  10. As I recall PIWIS 1 ver 34 was the last version for PIWIS 1 - it has been discontinued. At that point, Porsche moved to PIWIS 2 - which has a current version of 18.100. Porsche discontinued the PIWIS 2 and now leases the PIWIS 3. PIWIS 2 and PIWIS 3 use a completely different interface box - the KTS 520 will not work with a PIWIS 2 or PIWIS 3. Your PIWIS 1 should work on MY2014 and older cars but will no longer get any updates (for those cars or newer cars).
  11. Headlight bulbs are separate connections from all movement motors. The 9x6 series cars suffer from damage to the headlight connector in the fender - usually when someone slams the headlight into the carrier and it is not aligned properly. I have seen bent pins, and broken connectors on both the socket in the fender as well as the headlight itself. I would certainly do some inspect there to start.
  12. Fault 34 Passenger compartment monitoring sensor -- Short circuit to B+ or faulty. Fault 22 Passenger compartment monitoring sensor -- Short circuit to ground. Check for damaged wires or connectors.
  13. Whenever I see weird electrical problems on Cayenne - I suggest load testing the battery and checking the battery specific gravity on each cell. A low or weak battery or poor chassis ground causes all kinds of weird electrical problems on the Cayenne.
  14. Have you spoken to COBB - they are usually very helpful and open.
