  1. The starter cable that runs the length of the car from the battery (in front) to the starter in the rear. It runs in the tunnel primarily and will likely be a chore to replace. Make sure you have a source for the new cable first.
  2. Wow - still didn't follow the Lost Radio Code FAQ to "display" your radio serial number. The printed tag will be wrong if the radio has ever been repaired. WHen Becker repairs the radio it gets a new serial number - but does not get a new sticker. Hence the procedure in the Lost Radio Code FAQ to get the current serial number. Well, I hope your radio has not been repaired and the sticker is correct. Try 9806
  3. Please read the Lost Radio Code FAQ... follow the procedure and then post in the proper thread. This topic is closed. .
  4. Always helpful if you tell us the exact model and year of car...
  5. I think what you want is: 999 652 886 22 Connector -- US MSRP $2.26 each (3 needed) 999 652 916 40 Plug socket -- US MSRP $11.12 (1 needed) 999 704 161 40 Seal -- US MSRP $0.50 each (3 needed) Those will allow you to reconstruct the connector.
  6. Sorry, you don't show the end of the connector - how many pins?
  7. I believe that is a Blaupunkt or Alpine radio and my program only works with Becker/Porsche radios - as stated in the Lost Radio Code FAQ.
  8. Alarm Fault 47 Possible cause of fault: • Short circuit to ground/open circuit between alarm system control module and door locks • Door lock faulty Fairly common is a worn and broken mechanical latch in the door lock itself.
  9. The process is the same as the 996. There is a DIY here:
  10. Please read the Lost Radio Code FAQ... follow the procedure to find your radio serial number then post here.
  11. Please post other radio questions in a new thread. If you have an amp check the amp fuse.
  12. Wiring diagrams, as of 2006, are only available in PIWIS testers. Perhaps someone has a copy if you give us the exact year and exact model of your car (all wiring diagrams are year and model specific).
  13. How old is your battery? If it is 4 years or older it should be replaced.
  14. Please read the Lost Radio Code FAQ... follow the procedure to find your radio serial number then post here. I can not find radio codes through VIN.
