  1. GENUINE PORSCHE PARTS Apart from yourself, nobody knows your Porsche better than the person who developed it. We have adjusted everything to work together perfectly so that you can enjoy the Porsche feeling. And so that this feeling lasts for a long time, your Porsche undergoes a thorough examination at the hands of our specialists at every inspection. In case any part of your Porsche should ever need replacing, we recommend that you exclusively make use of genuine Porsche parts. With certain products, you have the choice between new parts and genuine Porsche parts which have been reworked and approved by Porsche. These are not merely more economical for you, but also preserve the environment and natural resources since their overhauling consumes less energy and raw materials than new production. Of course, these exchange parts are genuine Porsche parts - complete with a 2-year warranty. Up to a 40% discount over dealer retail pricing.
  2. Another radio? We already did this once. Try 8474
  3. Another radio? We already did this once. Try 0192
  4. If the car has a CD (6-disc) player then you need to look for a switch as only one device can use the AUX port at one time.
  5. Also, check your battery - if it is over 4 years old then replace it. These cars do some funny things when the battery gets weak.
  6. No that will not work - you need to re-calibrate as stated above.
  7. You can not buy a PIWIS - only lease one for about $18,000 per year. You might be able to find a used PST2 which is older but will still do everything for your model year car (PST2 supports through MY2006). PST2 were sold to shops before PIWIS and the new leasing plan went into effect.
  8. You need to re-calibrate using the method I described above.
  9. Look at the socket attaching points and then start following the wires back.
  10. All through the control unit for the front end. If the other lights are working then it should not be a fuse. Likely a bad ground (IMHO).
  11. Turns on the ABS/PSM pump so you can do a complete brake system flush. Used most often with switching from conventional brake fluid to synthetic or vice-versa.
  12. I think you need to run a Porsche specific diagnostic tool on the car. You might have a different fault the generic scanner is not picking up.
  13. Ask on the classifieds Wanted list. I sold one last year for $250. I was only using it once or twice a year - but other DIY Porsche owners likely use it once and then sell it to another person in need.
