  1. Do you have an amp? If so, check the amp fuse. Those amps have been problematic so if the fuse is good it might be a bad amp.
  2. Sunset Porsche in Oregon has this for $50 less... https://www.sunsetporscheparts.com/oem-parts/porsche-headlamp-switch-99661353500
  3. You can only purchase the contacts support piece with all cables (attached). 996 652 211 02 Support contact (manual transmission) -- US MSRP $293.94
  4. Fault code 1589 Head airbag ignition circuit, passenger side Possible cause of fault: - Upper limit exceeded (based on resistance of head airbag on passenger side and wires between airbag trigger unit and head airbag on passenger side) - Lower limit not reached (based on resistance of head airbag on passenger side and wiring between airbag trigger unit and head airbag on passenger side) - Short circuit to positive - Short circuit to ground - Head airbag on passenger side faulty - Airbag trigger unit faulty
  5. All Porsche copyrighted materials have been removed from this site - per Porsche's request. Sorry.
  6. Carefully pry it out from its holder (4 corners as I recall). If it is a heated mirror then disconnect the wires once it is loose.
  7. P0441 Fuel tank ventilation system above limit value/below limit value Possible cause of fault: - Tank vent faulty (remains stuck in an open or closed position) - Tank vent installed the wrong way round - Leak in scavenging lines between tank vent and positive crankcase ventilation (in the Turbo via a T-piece also on the intake side of the turbocharger) - Scavenging lines between tank vent and positive crankcase ventilation trapped or blocked (in the Turbo via a T-piece also on the intake side of the turbocharger)
  8. Carefully remove the mirror itself - then look for stripped gears or sometimes it gets stuck at the end of travel. Yes, the motors are the same part. Porsche sells a repair kit but I think it is over $200.
  9. Do you know the fault code(s)? Without them, everything is a guess.
  10. Get a PPI by an independent Porsche shop.
  11. Yes, just click on "Donate" link at the top or bottom of any page.
  12. Did you follow the procedure in the Lost Radio Code FAQ to find your correct serial number? If not, please do so and re-submit the correct serial number. If you did follow the procedure then chances are that your radio was repaired by a third party (other than Becker) - in that case, I can not help you.
  13. Model number on the front of your radio, please?
  14. Find a new mechanic - all Porsches need a vacuum fill to get all of the air out of the system. The tools are only about $100 so every shop should have them.
