  1. The most common problem after changing cluster faces is the failure to fully seat the instrument cluster connectors when re-installing. I would check that first.
  2. You need to read the Lost Radio Code FAQ...
  3. It is not inexpensive -supposedly (as required by US law) anyone should be able to get access to emissions related technical info - for a "reasonable price".
  4. Sorry, those do not exist in printed form. Porsche stopped printing paper manuals in 2006. Service manuals are available online only using a PIWIS (1,2 or 3) or with a subscription to PIIWS TSI (online). https://techinfo2.porsche.com/PAGInfosystem/VFModuleManager?Type=GVOStart
  5. No, the control unit in the center console - under the dash.
  6. Have you had anything apart recently that has an airbag (i.e. door panel, seat, steering wheel, etc.)? If not, then all you can do is check and reseat the connectors on the trigging unit.
  7. Exact model and year of your car, please.
  8. The Bosch equivalent is FGR 6 KQE .
  9. The correct spark pl99917020791ug for a 2003 Boxster (2.7 liter) is 14FGR 6KQU.
  10. Exact model and year of your car would be helpful...
  11. You did not read the Lost Radio Code FAQ... "Can you give me a code for my PCM? These units are manufactured jointly by Siemens and Becker, and the only place where you can get the codes required is from the dealer/OPC. The PCM’s require two codes, the ICS/Siemens code, and a Becker code. The ICS is the first code requested. Sorry, the only place you can get a PCM code is from a dealer/OPC."
  12. Please read the Lost Radio Code FAQ
  13. ^ speed or Tiptronic, please?
  14. The photo is of the rear of my 996 - with aerokit. The wiring diagram shows that it would still be the same connector regardless.
  15. How about a photo? The OEM speakers should fit - but they do not sit flush. They protrude slightly.
  16. Follow the cable down to the chassis - right behind the hinge/support.
  17. Sorry, just saw this. VS 13 is simply a junction of several wires. It is more likely that your issue is in the X23 connector (from my experience). If you follow the cable from the light down from the lid to the car body (on the right side as I recall) then it will be the connector that the fan and 3rd stop light plug into. Look for corrosion, bent or damaged pins, or even broken wires.
