  1. Specifically, this has been added... "All PMs (Private Messages) will be saved for 1-year maximum (365 days). PMs older than that will be automatically deleted (to save expensive space)." Why... there are currently more than 100,000 saved PMs taking up valuable storage space.

  2. It is always helpful if you tell us the exact model and year of the car.
  3. If your third brake is in the spoiler then yes - if your third brake light is in the back window then no.
  4. Sorry, can you tell me the number of wires and the color code of each wire?
  5. Does this car have an Aerokit read spoiler or other fixed wing spoiler? If so, then the connector is not used.
  6. Sorry, Bridgestone was on the 2007 Approved Tires TSB...
  7. It depends. If the throttle body came from a 199 996 then it would be mechanical (cable driven). But that was the last year.
  8. Those codes possible faults are: ATF level not OK Mechanical/hydraulic fault in transmission (e.g. solenoid valve does not operate despite correct electrical triggering Did you fill the transmission using the temperature probe for proper fill level? If not, that might be the simple solution.
  9. JFP is correct - physically different - including pinouts and connectors..
  10. C4S is a wide body and it is going to need Turbo sideskirts.
  11. I would need to read those specific manual entries. Safety Nuts have a rounded/crimped side with locking material inside.
  12. I would say yes -just to be safe. Chances are something else will move when you remove the spindle.
  13. The parts list only shows a lock not on the lower wishbone, driveshaft and wheel hub nuts. I personally would use Loctite blue (or equal) on all nuts and bolts that do not have lock nuts - but it is not needed don lock nuts.
  14. The hinge and the door flap are separate pieces. The door is easy - the hinge a little more work. Do you need both or just one one?
  15. Fault codes... fault codes... fault codes. Everything becomes an expensive guess without the fault codes. If you do not have a scan tool then find an auto parts store that will check your fault codes for you. Write them down and report them back here. Then we can hopefully point you in the right direction.
  16. Here is what my factory manual says... WM 282020 REMOVING AND INSTALLING IGNITION COILS (CAYENNE S & CAYENNE GTS) > REMOVING IGNITION COILS Information The procedure for removing and installing is described for one side as an example. The procedure for the other side is practically identical. Disconnect cable guide on the cylinder head cover. 1.1. Unscrew screws -1- and -2- and loosen cable guide. Cylinders 4-6: Loosen screw -2- using tool Insert For Torque Wrench 9792 and unscrew it. Loosen ignition coils. 1. 2.1. Release electric connectors -arrows- and set cable guide aside. 2. 2.2. Loosen screws -1- on the ignition coils. 3. Remove ignition coils. → see Fig 3 In difficult-to-r 4. each areas, the ignition coil -1- can also be turned.
  17. Yes, use an easy-out type device to carefully exact the frozen remains. Was the engine cold? I usually get the engine warm but not hot.
  18. Yes, they are replaceable. Not that big of a job - but you might want to do both sides. Then re-adjust the parking brake tension.
  19. Yes, the air leak could be in either the intake or exhaust side. That is what the sensor is seeing - so it is likely you have an air leak, not a sensor problem (other than it being loose).
