  1. Are you sure that is not part of the headlight mount?
  2. Fault code 1400 - Control position not adjustable Possible cause of fault: - Control position not adjustable, vehicle too low or too high (no display) 1. Check mechanical and pneumatic components. 2. Check to see if other faults are recorded (e.g. 0774, 0775, 0776, 1780). 3. Re-calibrate level control module. 4. Replace level control module.
  3. Didn't read the Lost Radio Code FAQ? "CDR-23 (or later): These radios do not have a security code - that is, not that the user enters. These radios are security tested on the MOST (fiber optic bus) system to see if they are the "programmed" radio. The radios are programmed and recognized by the car’s DMEand can only be replaced by a shop with a PST2 or PIWIS. These radios will not request a code when battery power is disconnected."
  4. Model and year, please?
  5. Likely 9A7 007 517 00 sheet metal screw 4.8x19 (updated part) -- US MSRP $0.39 each
  6. I don't think it's going anywhere with 4 pop-rivets in the piece.
  7. It should work fine.
  8. The parts list just shows the 4 pop-rivets.
  9. Sheet 19 in the MY2000.
  10. I think there is a page missing from the MY1999 Boxster schematics. If you look at later models E188 is on the Motronic 7.2 diagram - which seems to be missing. It also would imply that the "S" got DME 7.2.
  11. Normally pin 1 starts at the top left.
  12. Look at the schematic again - the plugs are labeled I/7 -- that means socket 1 pin 7. You will also see II/14 which means socket 2 pin 14. You likely want the ones labeled as socket 1 (I/1 to 18).
  13. Huh... the wire color code is on each line shown here. i.e. YEL/RE = Yellow with a red stripe
  14. What model and year car is this amp from?
  15. What page of the wiring diagram?
  16. 15-year-old car - absolutely yes. Best to change every 5 years.
