  1. You are misunderstanding stage 1 and stage 2 over revs. Stage 2 are the only over revs that are potentially engine damaging. Have a look at here.
  2. These aren't fairing to well... A number of folks have given up and returned them. check here and here
  3. What year is your cup car? I have a few of the Cup Car Service Manuals.
  4. You can order the Bentley Boxster manual from here and help support RennTech.org. RennTech.org items on Amazon Also check out Sunset Imports for parts. They sell at dealer cost plus 15%. I doubt you will find any better deal on genuine Porsche parts. Porsche Parts at Dealer cost Yes, check your owners manual for instruction of how to put the top in service position and also how to remove the engine cover(s). :welcome:
  5. Well, you could break something I suppose. Where are you located? Sometimes folks in your area are willing to help.
  6. If you are a good customer - free. Otherwise I would expect to pay the minimum 1 hour labor.
  7. A dealer or any shop with a PST2 or PIWIS tester can code the cluster (and other options) in the car. Where are you located?
  8. You can read a number of actual values. You can look at input signals. You can manually perform action with the drive links. You can verify/change coding of the AC system. And, there is a System Test that you can run (although I have never used it).
  9. Yes. Some coding maybe required. The cluster coding designates: VIN Navigation Country Code Language Service Interval (reset) Maintenance Interval As well, mileage may need to be set.
  10. Find a shop with a Porsche PST2 or PIWIS tester and they can diagnose the cause of your problem in few maninutes with just a few tests.
  11. If any parts of the intake have been removed or modified start looking there. Look for loose or disconnected hoses etc. Buy a spray can of carburetor/fuel injector cleaner and clean the throttle body (do a search here as this has been covered many time). Buy some electrical contact cleaner and then remove and clean your MAF and re-install it. This has also been covered here many times - so do a search for the topic and it will give you information on the special tool for the MAF and the cleaning process.
  12. No. It should not do any harm. I would not disconnect it with the car running though.
  13. P1128 Oxygen Sensing Adaptation, Idle Range, Bank 1 – Above Limit P1130 Oxygen Sensing Adaptation, Idle Range, Bank 2 – Above Limit P0507 Idle Air Control at Stop – Above Limit P1128 & P1130 potential causes: – Incorrect signal from MAF sensor – Intake air system leaking – Fuel pressure too low – Volume supply of fuel pump too low – Fuel injectors fouled – Exhaust system leaking P0507 potential causes: – Throttle valve is sticking – Leaks in intake air system Sounds like air leaks, dirty throttle valve and/or bad MAF.
  14. Sounds like a CR-220. You might try Becker (the manufacturer). Becker Board
  15. I doubt it is the relay or wiring. I would put my money on one or both horns being bad. They are not very good horns and many folks have replaced them. http://www.renntech.org/forums/index.php?s...ost&p=37552 http://www.renntech.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=5042
  16. Before you do that you might check the fuse E7. That would be the 5th row down from the top and 7th fuse from the left. It should be 7.5A.
  17. Did you read this: Turbo LCD Gauge/Instrument Cluster Upgrade Walkthrough for Cayenne/S
  18. You will need the RoW mounting hardware. Items 21, 22, 23, 24 and 25.
  19. No one can see those images without joining that site. Perhaps you could repost them here?
  20. Then the engine is a exchange engine. This engine could be new or refurbished depending on available stock. The paperwork should say 996.100.971.X -- this would be a MY05 engine.
