  1. Here it is reduced in size... Idle_Control_Valve___cleaning_98_boxster_2.pdf
  2. It should - the only things that changed were the leather colors and the Porsche logo (slight).
  3. To my knowledge there has never been a Porsche Sport Exhaust for the 996TT (including X50 packages). All the "sport exhausts" I know of for 996TT are aftermarket.
  4. They all worked for me. Did you remove the spaces? (i.e. PNA50398701)
  5. It is the same part number (996.618.980.03).
  6. Folks - please just keep it civil here and keep it on topic. Everyone is entitled to their opinion...
  7. From everything I have heard (to date) the 997 seal is your best choice.
  8. Water in the brake booster?
  9. If it is up (all the time) then chances are there is air in the system. It is just a bleed valve and Cup Car racers leave it up most of the time.
  10. Offset Explained - check out this link http://www.renntech.org/forums/index.php?a...DE=02&cat=4
  11. That is okay - and welcome! With over 54,000 posts here many topics have been covered in a great deal of detail... enjoy! :welcome:
  12. That will depend on the wheel offset. Email the seller and ask them for the wheel offsets -- then we can help.
  13. Have you done a search here? These same faults have been discussed many times here before. Just search for p1128 and p1130.
  14. PCA has an "Excellent" comparison (IMHO). Much more detail and testing than I have ever seen (other than pure racing teams).
  15. Only if they will let you put the locking assembly in (at their location since you can't drive it until the keys are programmed). I would buy a spare key from Sunset Imports (Porsche Parts at Dealer Cost at the top of any page). That way if their are any questions about the authenticity of the key - you have a Porsche dealer to vouch for it and you.
  16. Yes, the key info (transponder data) will need to be transfered using a PST2 or PIWIS tester.
  17. If your battery is 4 year old (or older) then it likely needs replaced. Many auto parts stores will load test and specific gravity test your battery for free. If you had other electrical problems I would look at the ignition switch - but the battery is the beat place to start.
  18. :welcome:
  19. As they say in their ad - "the rears will require spacers for C4S".
  20. Many times information on newer models gets added tot eh service manuals 2-3 years after the model manual is introduced. My 996 was not complete until almost 4 years after I bought it (there are 99 supplements for the 996 series). Sometimes dealerships that have a POSES subscription can get online updates directly through their PIWIS tester.
  21. You need to replace the lock and switch.
  22. It is a vacuum filling system. So it pulls coolant in without trapping air bubbles.
  23. There is a DIY and discussion here.
  24. The Retail Price Search feature (for our Contributing Members) has been updated to reflect March 2007 pricing for the US (only). We try and update this on a monthly basis as the price lists come available to us. For March 2007 the price lists support - US: 211,261 parts Canada: 209,209 parts (December 2006)
