  1. You can use a PST2 or the Durametric Software to start the ABS pump for bleeding. It is such a small amount that I usually don't worry about it (and I have both a PST2 and the Durametric Software).
  2. On a 2 stop lamp car - it looks like they are just wired in parallel. Even the wire colors are the same.
  3. I would need to know the model year of the car it came out of.
  4. Does the cluster display show the car is in Park? If not the sensor in the gear shift may have slipped off.
  5. They don't work weekends - I'm sure you will get a reply Monday morning.
  6. http://www.whiteson.org/boxster/mods/obc/
  7. The emergency release is right behind the right front wheel well liner. This has been covered here many times.
  8. K 996 505 980 92 900 RS front bumper in white This is a special order item from Porsche Motorsports.
  9. It will all come down to whether you can get it out (and the new one in) removing the bumper and/or muffler. I would remove the rear bumper first (if needed) as it is only about a 15 minute job.
  10. Yes, you will be topping up the coolant tank for a few days as the system bleeds out the air.
  11. You can usually pry them off with a screwdriver. If you bend them too much they might have to be replaced.
  12. Since it works ... how is the passenger seat wired? (wire colors please)
  13. All go to motor control. HH is up and down of either the front or rear of the seat motor. HV is up and down of either the front or rear of the seat (opposite of HH) motor. LS is Longitudinal adjust motor. These are to the motors but they are normally controlled by the seat memory controller so I don't know the signals they get. Black and white on all three go directly to the motors. In the top pic Grey/Red, Grey, Grey/Green, and Grey Black go to the Backrest Angle adjust motor. Grey/Green, and Grey Black go directly to the motor.
  14. I would start with the CD player fuse and also see if it will release and and re-insert the cassette.
  15. M580 is the option number for the 9x6 series. All 9x7 series cars use option codes starting with I.
  16. I would try a new (or some else's) relay first. It is relay position 3.
  17. Not that I've seen in the parts list. Seems strange since it was so popular in the 9x6 series.
  18. Add all the coolant that you can back in before you start the engine. Run it a little until the coolant is no longer visible in the tank - then shut it off - let it cool and add more coolant. Do this until it stabilizes between the full and low marks.
  19. Check your maintenance book that came with the car for details of any state by state exceptions.
  20. For the Cayenne S and Turbo Brake disc thickness, new front - 34 mm rear - 28 mm Brake discs minimum thickness front - 32 mm rear - 26 mm Lateral runout of the brake disc, max. 0.03 mm Lateral runout of the wheel hub, max. 0.01 mm Lateral runout of the brake disc when installed, max. 0.06 mm
