  1. The B&M shifter shifter instructions are quite good for this. You can download them here.
  2. Have you checked with Sunset Imports (Porsche Parts at Dealer Cost)?
  3. You could try filling the tank - then disconnect the battery for 5 minutes and then re-connect it. If that doesn't do it then you may need a PST2. It still could be a bad sensor or cluster.
  4. It is included (as an option) on US/Canada cars (at least that is what the parts list says).
  5. The misfire is only on cylinder 3? That is the only code? If so, then you likely have a cracked coil or bad spark plug. You need to have a look.
  6. Either the fuel level sensor (connections) have gone bonkers or the cluster is bad. If you hook up a PST or PIWIS it should tell what the fuel level sensor is doing.
  7. Yes, it should be in the tool kit. It is used to position the wheel so you don't hit the caliper putting the wheel on.
  8. Please do not ask people to violate copyright laws. There are companies and people that sell service manuals.
  9. P1117 - Oxygen sensor heating 1 behind catalytic converter – below lower threshold P1121 - Oxygen sensor heating 2 behind catalytic converter – below lower threshold P0160 - Oxygen Sensor After Catalytic Converter (Cylinders 4 - 6) - Interruption of Signal P0153 - Aging of Oxygen Sensor Ahead of Catalytic Converter (Cylinders 4 - 6) - Below Lower Limit P1117 and P1121 say the O2 (after cat) sensor heaters are not heating. Very odd to have this on both at the same time. I would have a good look at the wiring and connectors. P0160 and P0153 are one sensor before the cat and one after - again very odd as this would say both are bad. Again could be a wiring harness issue or a bad DME. Is this a US car? Any other visible issues with the car? Does it run/idle properly?
  10. Yes, it is common. Your dealer should have replaced your cap years ago. The caps with a part number ending in "00" are all bad (or soon too leak). Porsche updated the cap and you should get the one that ends in "01".
  11. Could be just a loose bolt on the actuator arm too...
  12. My guess would be a hose came loose or cracked from the temperature change. Run the engine until it is good and warm then get the fault code read (write it down) and reset it. See if the noise and fault code come back.
  13. We will need your model year and model (i.e Boxster, Boxster S, Special Edition, etc.).
  14. Sometimes there are country specific options - and we don't have them all. Perhaps another Australia owner has a copy of the (Australia) MY03 options guide. Here is what I could find... X7F - B0R - QG0 - 0GU - emission compliance EU 2 0Y2 - tropical climate zone E0A - most likely an engine rating 0JZ - most likely a weight class for the front axle 0YZ -

  17. This is from the 997GT3 parts list. Looks like there is a hole for a pin to go through the pads but no pin is shown going through item 11. Can you take a picture of the rear brake?
  18. There are so many it would be hard to make a list. Some of the variables are: US or RoW; Coupe, Cab, or Targa; 6 speed or Tiptronic; standard or sport; 2WD or 4WD; X74 or no X74; and of course model year. Chances are spring from a MY02 car will not work on your car as there were suspension and chassis strengthening changes made for MY02 and newer cars.
