  1. Entering the antitheft CODE This radio renders itself inoperative in the case of theft. If the radio or car battery is disconnected, the radio automatically disables itself. Once the radio is reinstalled or the battery is reconnected, the word "CODE", with a flashing letter "C", and the digits 1-0 appear in the display. Prior to use, the correct code must be entered via the multifunction keys. Example: CODE 1530 (Preassigned to each radio and supplied to the owner on the PORSCHE RADIO CODE CARD) is entered by pressing the multifunction keys in sequence. After the first digit is entered, the word "CODE" disappears and the number is displayed followed by three dashes. As digits are entered, the next line in sequence flashes. When all four numbers have been entered, the first digit flashes. At this time you can overwrite the code as often as necessary. To correct any error, you must enter the complete code. Once the correct code is displayed, enter by pushing the signal seek switch. If you have entered an incorrect code, the word "CODE" reappears in the display. The system allows two more attempts for a total of three. After three incorrect attempts, "WAIT" is displayed. A ten-minute time interval must lapse before you can attempt the coding process. You have three more chances to enter the proper code at this time. After nine attempts at code entry and three waiting periods of ten minutes each, the radio will "WAIT" for sixty minutes. After sixty minutes, you will have three more attempts at code entry. Should you fail at this point, "WAIT" will appear, and sixty minutes must pass before you can make another attempt. Attention: The radio must be on during the waiting period.
  2. Fuse 16 in the left fuse support. In many cases, it is not the fuse but a bad horn (or horns). The factory horns are not very good.
  3. Try 2103 This is the third time I have given you a radio code - perhaps you would consider a donation to this site.
  4. 19-inch wheels were never approved by Porsche for 986 series Boxstrers. They were approved for the 987 series and were as follows: Front: 32 psi Rear: 36 psi
  5. Yes, a RoW or UK cluster from the same year should work fine. They will have to set up the programming using PIWIS but all should work properly for your locale.
  6. Then the diagrams I posted should match your car.
  7. Please read and follow the procedure in the Lost Radio Code FAQ. I will ONLY answer requests in that one thread. This topic is now closed.
  8. Normally when we see electrical anomalies on Cayennes we think battery. - as a weak battery does cause all kinds of strange electrical issues. My concern here would be the wet carpet which indicates a drain (or drains might be clogged). You will likely need Durametric or PIWIS to find what faults are occurring and where. But get the leak fixed first -- then search for damage or corrosion on electrical boards or connectors.
  9. Undo fastening screws 1. To reduce the unclipping forces and thereby the risk of damage during removal, the removal steps must be carried out at the accessible connection points using a suitable tool. Unclip trim panel for spring strut mount 2 first upwards Arrows A and then pull out slightly in direction of Arrow B. Check fastening nuts 1 and clamps 2, 3, and replace if necessary.
  10. Read and follow the procedure in the Lost Radio Code FAQ.
