  1. Sorry, that is a Mercedes radio and I can not help you.
  2. The part number for the 996 (LHD) version is: 996 201 021 90
  3. If it is 8009 then I think the Porsche service manual is correct.
  4. You can't reset an airbag code until the fault is fixed. Fault 8009 Driver's belt pretensioner Possible fault causes: - Short circuit to B+/ground/between lines or open circuit in the lines - Connection with other ignition circuit - Driver's belt tensioner faulty - POSIP triggering unit faulty
  5. Start with the battery - a weak or failing battery causes all kinds of strange electrical issues on early Cayenne's.
  6. There is an upgraded ignition switch from Porsche - it's a bit more work but should solve the issue (for good).
  7. Perhaps the switch was not assembled correctly. The key part of the switch can wear out also.
  8. Did you try to release tension in the ignition lock by moving the steering wheel?
  9. P0107 Ambient Pressure Sensor – Below Limit The ambient pressure sensor measures the air pressure. The ambient pressure sensor is incorporated in the DME control module. Are you using a Porsche specific code reader? If not, I would try reading the faults again with a Porsche specific reader.
  10. 1. The wiring diagrams differ by year and sometimes exact model. 2. The files are quite large. 3. RennTech.org Guideline/Rules... 11. Use 955 201 366 03 (which is the latest part) plus the other parts listed (Line Holder and Bracket) below.
  12. Unless your fault code is exactly the same as the original poster you are likely just guessing. Best to get a Porsche fault code reader and see what your fault code(s) are.
