Removing the Hazard switch harness on 02

Without breaking a tab or two, I can't see how to remove the harness to the hazard switch. Does anyone have any advice or pictures?

Might have to send you a set of the evil DVDs. ;) We cover this on the DVD for the trip computer/steering wheel swap/hard top adjustment.

First remove the hazard switch. You will see 2 place plastic tabs on the switch. Squeeze them in and with you third hand pull on the white part of the switch with pliers and the switch will pull out.

Flip the cluster. My screwdriver is pointing to the plastic lever that holds the connector in place. Pull the lever back just a hair.

Then you pull the connector down. It does not pull away from the switch the way you think it would or how you separate a normal connector. Slide the connector down.

Do not forget to protect your dash from the cluster with a towel under the cluster. The 5 tabs that hold the cluster in place can dig into your dash. Jeff

Thanks for the great pics... When I yanked on the white part, I broke the switch though.. doah!

Anyone have a general idea on replacement price?
