Yesterday I installed my B&M SSK, and I noticed this connector coming out of the bottom of the center console stack. Is this for a telephone setup?

Green/Black - switched 12 volts

Red/Green - unswitched 12 volts

Funny I was just going to post the same question. I just did the B&M SSK. This site is amazing.

I remember a DYI web site told me to use that connector's to power my V1.

Is the male end connector used for the Phone prep a standardized connector that I could purchase? If so where?

If I hook the audio out from my Garmin GPS to the Yellow/Black - telephone mute and ground, will the voice directions from the Garmin come out of my stereo speakers? I asume it can not be that easy!

Don't dealers also sell the connector to plug in to the phone prep? What is the part number?

No, that is a signal that the telephone module sends the stereo to mute when a call is incoming. The wire goes to the Black (plug A) connector on the back of the radio.

Anyone know what pins to use to plug into this block? I am trying to wire up an auto-dim mirror, and discovered there is no switched power in the dome light area on cabs. So I decided the center console block would be the next best area. So, I'd like to just crimp some pins on my wires and plug in, but I don't know what pins I need. None of the bullet connectors I have fit, they are all too big. Thanks in advance.
