I don't think it will fit a stock bumper - but I have never tried. It is held in place with 11 plastic rivets... so if the contour did fit then you would likely need to drill the 11 holes.

Loren, I have the factory aerokit on my 99 C2 but do not have the lip spoiler you highlighted. Do you have a part number for that? I haven't looked but should there already be holes in my bumper to accomodate the spoiler?

If it's a factory aerokit bumper then the holes will be there. You will need both the spoiler and 11 plastic rivets.

996 505 986 00 Spoiler $76.16 (prices as of Nov 2003)

999 507 427 40 Plastic Rivet $0.19 each

Hey Loren,

I notice in the pic that there are three radiators? Is that only for Tiptronic? I believe someone in the forum said that. Also, I was quite surprised that there isn't some kind of protection from debris or rocks for the three radiators? Thanks!

Hey mdillian3690,

I had that bumper on my former P-car -- an '02 Boxster S -- and I never had any problems with debris. Rarely did anything enter the bumper vents, and when something did, you could just reach in and clean them. I created grills and was about to have them powder coated when someone told me that it would only make it more difficult to clean out debris that did enter the vent. As such, my recommendation would be not to worry about it too much.
