Well, I just bought a sweet new track car (street legal) to replaced my burned 951S. It weighs 1,890 lbs based on a 73T with a 73RS motor (2.7L magnesium with MFI, racing headers, 9.5:1 CR and 240hp with 8,000 rpm redline). All racing Bilstein coilovers (no torsion bars) Charlie sway bars, etc. Engine and tranny are visible from inside car (through lexan window). Only glass is windshield (rest is Lexan). Carl - Yes, that's the car. Builder drove from his home in Montreal to Tampa and then to Denver to deliver it to me. It was also the car at Hershey, PA last year (only two trips the car's ever taken).

It's an amazing car, and very "together" in terms of how he developed his theme in designing the color patterns, etc.

Do you know how much wt. was saved with the various changes? Not overall, but how valuable each one was?

Also, Excellence said the dash was carbon fiber but I couldn't see that in the photos -- is it CF on the underside?

OHH sorry I'm a newbie here but I saw this car at hershey when it was for sale. It's one of the most incredible RS's I've seen. I love the way that the watershields are done up. NICE CAR!
