New 996 convertible top with glass window

I just bought a glass top for my 1999 996 Carrera 4 convertible. I decided to get one from Ebay from a seller called Tops4less. The tops are actually made at GAHH. When you go on GAHH website the top with headliner is $1750 plus you add $125 for the defrosting element, so it comes to $1875. Mine was $1250 plus $100 for the defrosting element. So it came to $1350. So I saved $525 by buying on Ebay. The top even got shipped in a GAHH box.

I called around for installers. They varied from $1000 to $550. My service tech actually referred me to the most experienced one in Houston and he gave me the $550 price. It was installed the same day.

So the total for the top replacement was $1350+$550 plus $40 shipping =$1940

The top fits like a glove and it looks better than the original. The window is smaller than the plastic one, but it does not make much difference since it's so much clearer and you can see perfectly through it.
