I bought this OBD2 code reader yesterday and for some reason I can't get it to fit onto the Boxster's connector (yes, it's right side up!)

My car's connector is sort of pink and appears to have the same pin set up - but no luck getting it to attach. Do I need another attachment?

Please advise.

Thx

Can't tell if your plug has the same problem mine did. I do not have your tester. On mine there was a plastic tab which prevented the plug from seating. I carved away the plastic nub from inside the tab with a chisel, as in the second pic. That nub would prevent my plug from seating until I removed it.

The first pic is Loren's plug. You can see that the entire tab has been removed so that the plug would seat.
