Hi. looking to replace the final drive fluid in my 2000 C2 Tiptronic. I know there's a fill plug and I'm sure it has some kind of a crush washer. Where can I get that crush washer? Anyone know the dimensions?

You realize that there is drain for the final drive on the Tiptronic transmission? You will need to vacuum (suck) out all the gear oil with a pump.

When refilling it will take less than 1 liter 75-90W gear oil and must be done very slowly because of the baffle just inside the fill hole. 22 ftlb. on the fill plug.

The crush washer does not show on the parts listing (at least not that I can find) so I would just ask your local dealer/shop as they have likely matched it.

Thanks. You mean there is no drain on the Tip final drive? That's what I read?, I'm ready to pump it out. I'm having trouble finding the recommended fluid, so I may end up using something like Redline 75-90w....

Could it be possible that "ninsei" car is equipped with a ZF tiptronic and yours with a MB, despite they share the commercial name TIPTRONIC, both constructions are different.

yes ninsei's (that's me) car is a 2000 C2 with the ZF Tip tranny. I haven't actually looked at the final drive yet, but the workshop manual says there's only one drain/fill plug. It also says you should replace the "seal" for that plug. What is that seal?

As Loren indicated, the seal does not show on the parts listing, your dealer can help you out with the appropriate one, which is undoubtedly in stock.

What kind of tool would one use to suck out the old fluid?

You can buy inexpensive hand fluid pumps at most auto parts stores.

I just did this job. pretty easy. I re-used the same plug. The plug doesnt use a crush washer as I originally thought. It has an embedded, non-replace-able oring. I dont think it will leak, but I'll re-post if it does.
