Anyone out there have or know the whereabouts of a good engine swap cantidate? I would prefer a 2001- 2003 S model but would consider other applications. Talked to Todd about his 3.6 car, but it looks like it might be sold, so I am looking for other options. Grenaded engine is preferable but a light wreck is a consideration as well. Thanks for any help.

Hello,

Try Silver star recycling in Sacramento. There prices are the best I've seen and I think they offer a toke 3 month warranty. Bear in mint that unless the engine takes a direct hit to, it;s unlikely to be a problem.

But, this is completely unscientific . I'd be a little Leary of a car with a head on collision. It seems like it could be a traumatic shock to the motor because of the motor coming to an abrupt and complete stop at say 3k rpm's.

On the other hand, probably no worse than reving it up and doping the clutch

Regards, PK
