  1. LN Spin On Oil Filter

I installed an LN Spin On Oil Filter Adapter after learning that the stock oil filter purge valve can sometimes get stuck open and allow unfiltered oil to circulate. I use Wix 51042XP filters with a FilterMag secured with a pipe clamp. · 09/10/2019

  2. Center Radiator, Low Temp Thermostat & S Oil Cooler

I installed a center radiator in my base 986, along with a low temp thermostat and larger 'S' oil cooler. It's worth noting that the center radiator is only effective while driving since it lacks any fans. · 09/10/2019

  3. SkyBreaker Windscreen

This is one of my favorite mods. 986forum had a member that custom made center windscreens with embedded LED's to illuminate engraving on the plexiglass. Mine is a simple "Porsche" across the bottom. It is powered by the phone connector with a light control on the shelf under the steering wheel. · 09/10/2019

  4. Drain Vent Covers

PN: 987 561 487 00, these 987 vent covers will help prevent the drain holes from getting clogged which can cause water to overflow into the interior and destroy the immobilizer. · 09/10/2019

  5. Bumper Plugs

I painted carpet plugs with touch up paint and installed them into the front license plate holes. · 09/10/2019

  6. DeAmber

I replaced by sidemarkers and headlights with clears, and the taillights with clear/red. I think it looks much better with Ocean Blue than the original amber. · 09/10/2019

  7. Manual Radiator Fan Switch

I installed a manual switch that grounds Pin 85 of the two High Speed Fan relays, turning them on. Because I wanted to use an OEM switch I had to use a latching relay. · 09/10/2019

  8. Mid Strut Bar

Of the three struts I have installed this one probably makes the biggest difference in terms of flex and hardtop noise. · 09/10/2019

  9. Lower Stress Bar

My lower rear stress bar, or ernie bar, is a 24" 7/8" hexagonal aluminum allow bar (Type 6061) with two slots for the heads of two 3/8" bolts. · 01/30/2010

  10. Front Strut Bar

This is a simple lightweight metal bar with two mounting brackets made by Top Speed. · 01/22/2010
