- Description This is a 99 996 "C" stock club race car. I bought it new and converted it to a full time race car in 2003. Last winter we updated the car to 2004 specs. This included adding a 3.6L X51, LSD and a pile of other stuff. These changes, combined with it's racing weight of 2910, make it a fairly capable track car. I'm pretty sure I'm safe in saying it's one of, if not the fastest n/a 996 around. My goal is to give the 993 RSs and the 993 TTs in my class a run for their money. Time will tell if a 996 can be competitive. If you have questions about racing a 996, drop me a line. I'll help if I can.
