- Description Nice and Clean 1999 996

OEM Specifications

Arctic Silver
Black Base interior
17" Twisted "Turbo Look" Wheels

OEM Options
CD Changer

1999 911 Performance, Engine & Power Specs

• 3,387 cc 3.4 liters 6 horizontal rear engine with 96 mm bore, 78 mm stroke, 11.3 compression ratio, double overhead cam, variable valve timing/camshaft and four valves per cylinder
• Power: 221 kW, 296 HP @ 6,800 rpm; 258 ft lb, 350 Nm @ 4,600 rpm

-That's right, no matter what options are missing; this car has the exact same engine as all other Carreras from 1999 (Less the GT3).

*Notes
Overall I am very pleased with this purchase. When I purchased this Porsche I had a 400whp Honda S2000 and a fully loaded 2006 Cadillac STS4. The Honda was an outstanding car but lacked real finesse. I drove all over the country in the Honda with no disappointment; however it was designed for a smaller person. The Cadillac is everything that any glutton could ever want in a car. I did not have to think in that car. Cadillac literally took the experience out of driving.

Moving forward, I decided to go the Porsche route. I never have considered myself a Porsche type of a guy but the blend of size, power and refinement is perfect. The car is also very solid, feeling like a much heavier car to the touch but a very docile automobile when driven. I cannot get over the electric current of the engine as it effortlessly accelerates from the gear of my choosing.

I found what I have been missing in a car.

Now, as you can see I will be modifying this car in the future as it is what I do; so please stay tuned for more to come...
